frustrations

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Today was one of those days when you have a million instances of "why the hell didn't I take my camera with me??"..One of my commonest frustrations.. My friend's mother is a painter and has her own atelier next to their home. My friend needed to pick something up so we stopped by for a while. It was a gorgeous 4-roomed,1-bathroom loft that looked just like an obscure shop from the inside. Everything, everywhere was decorative, toilet paper included! The space was not very large but it had tons of objects all over the place so as soon as you stepped in the lobby you were overwhelmed by the millions of different things. I was just sitting on the couch (the most amazing vintage velvet) and everytime i looked into a new direction I was greeted by newfound details.. I just felt like sitting there and gazing at every little trinket.. definitely most inspiring interior I've seen, yet I didn't have my camera with me. classic.

Oh, I totally agree about the lack of camera. It's frustrating. I also hate when you see something beautiful, so you whip out your camera, and then it's gone (i.e. birds, when you're in a car, etc.).
